| Carcass dead---decayed and old--- Is now considered food. Nutritionists ignore the fact That food affects our mood. The subtle side of life, they think, Does not apply to men. From tree of life they pluck the fruit And quite ignore the stem. One day the tree grows old and dies And then they have to think, but then no matter how one tries, The pen is out of ink. The law is such that what we eat Affects the mind and soul. The death we eat by having killed Will put us in The Hole, Where mind is dim and cannot think, Where life becomes effete. The cesspool has its special stink And Hell its special treat. A simple act on us rebounds With fury of its own. Escape lies not within our hands Unless we eat what's grown. Like vegetables and fruits and nuts--- These foods are meant for man. May lower creatures die ;in peace, No hang in butcher's van! |
