wherever Lovers meet,
From all of life they take the best
To make their lives complete.

East is East and West is West,
As China wakes from sleep,
The Seeker finds in ancient texts
a secret very deep.

The Light of Truth shines in the East
Through  "Journey To the West."
And Te brings Tao to Buddha's Feast
when we take up The Quest.

The restless Mind creates a dream
To dominate the Soul.
The wise reverse the downward Stream
to reach the Final Goal.

East is East and West is West,
But at the Sage's feet,
the Orient weds Occident
In Holy Union sweet.

Tao (The Way)  The name given to the Nameless Self Existent Being.

Te:  (Virtue in the Cosmic sense) Harmony among all aspects of life. To be in harmony with oneself and the entire creation.
